Tricia M. Ostertag (Artistic Manager)- Tricia is excited to be in her second season as Artistic Manager of the Players Guild and her sixth as a volunteer. She is a graduate of Canton Central Catholic and Walsh University where she graduated magna cum laud with a B.A. in communications. While at the Guild, she has served on the marketing, play reading and education committees as well as the Stage Craft chair of Partners in Production. She has been an actress, dancer, choreographer, assistant director and stage manager and this season she will make her directorial debut with A Christmas Carol. Her choreography has also been seen at Central Catholic in Once on this Island. Tricia’s favorite roles include Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Mrs. Cratchit in A Christmas Carol, Aysha in Children of Eden and as a phantom and the dance captain in The Rocky Horror Show. When not at the Guild, she runs her own photography business, Dramatic Reflections. Tricia enjoys being a newlywed with her husband Stephen and a mommy to her pups Elfie and Boq. “Thank you for supporting the arts in Stark County!”

Joshua Erichsen (Production Designer)-Josh returns to the Players Guild for his 8th season, after finishing up a 4th season as principal costume designer with the critically acclaimed Ohio Shakespeare Festival.  During his tenure with the Players Guild, Josh has designed costumes and sets for both the main-stage and arena productions.  Set and costume design credits include, Players Guild: Titanic, Cabaret, The Diary of Anne Frank, Of Mice and Men, 1776, Beauty and the Beast, Schoolhouse Rock Live, The Secret Garden, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, A Grand Night for Singing, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, The King and I, The Guild’s 70th Anniversary Musical Review, Children of Eden, Godspell, The Wizard of Oz, Footloose, Inherit the Wind, Les Miserables, The Rocky Horror Show, and this past season’s A Christmas Carol.  Ohio Shakespeare Festival:  Much Ado About Nothing, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Twelfth Night, and The Tempest.  An accomplished artist, Josh is also the recipient of several artistic achievement awards for his works, many of which have been displayed in area galleries.  Josh would like to thank the 3 beautiful women in his life, Liberty, Grace and Monica, and dedicates this season to his mentors, Richard Boczek and the late William F.(Bil) Pfuderer.


Carrie Alexander Spina (Instructor)- Has been volunteering at the Players Guild since 1993 and recently joined the teaching staff working with 4-9 year olds. She has been in several shows through the years. Her favorite roles include Ghost of Christmas past (Christmas Carol), Curley's Wife (Of Mice and Men) and Minnie Stern (Anne of Green Gables). Carrie is the Director and Co founder of the Players Guild outreach program, Page to Stage which is currently touring elementary schools and area events with Treasure Island and Story Book Readings. She also Directed the 2006 Annie Jr. Summer Camp at the Players Guild. Carrie Directed for the Royal Family Kids Camp sponsored by Faith Family church, In search of Gods Treasure and has also written, Directed and performed in Drama for the Winners Choice Outreach program in Alliance.
