Michael DeVito: The Manhattan Theatre Source and New York Fringe Festival produced playwright, Masters in Creative Writing/Playwriting and English Lit.
Drama with Comedic Punch: Combining the wit of Seinfeld and the dramatic, universal tone of Our Town, two New York couples on unstable mental and emotion ground articulate and explore their fears of conceiving children, and in doing so, bring to life the ideas and emotions of the children they just might have together. The New Play Conservatory integrates theatre production and training with an extreme emphasis, as our equation suggests, that is two-fold:
- To obtain, develop, and produce three full length world première plays for the theatre stage
- To assemble and debut actors, writers, directors and critics who have trained alongside master artists and together as an ensemble
