The following dates and times have been established for productions for the current Players Guild Theatre Season.

Please Note: These dates and times may change due to future bookings or unforeseen events at the theatre. Please check this page or call the theatre, (330) 453-7619 one week prior to auditions to confirm the dates and times.

In most cases scripts will be available to peruse at The Guild up to two weeks before a scheduled audition. Auditioners should be familiar with the script and characters prior to their audition.

The number of characters needed to cast each production and their relative ages are listed for each production. Both the ages and the total number cast may be changed during the audition process.

A scheduled time slot is mandatory for each production.

HELPFUL HINTS FOR AUDITIONERS:
• Read the script before the audition. You can't present a good audition if you are not aware of the script and character requirements.

• Realistically select roles you feel you would be interested in and suitable for. Do not consider yourself for roles much beyond your real age. In musicals, you shouldn't audition for roles not written in your vocal range.

• Note all rehearsal and performance dates and be prepared to clear your personal schedule to be available for the entire rehearsal and performance times. ALL REHEARSAL CONFLICTS SHOULD BE NOTED on your audition form. By missing rehearsals you impact not only your own performance, you also affect the rest of the cast. There can be NO PERFORMANCE CONFLICTS!

• If auditioning for a musical prepare your audition using sheet music. Singing along to a recording will ultimately “throw” you when you must sing with only a piano accompaniment that may be in a different key.
KNOW YOUR SELECTION.

• In all auditions speak/sing loudly and distinctly.
