The Players Guild Theatre ushers in its 78th Season
CANTON, OH ‐ The 2009‐2010 Season will open with the Pulitzer Prize winning musical RENT. Winner of 4 Tony awards including Best Musical, RENT is a gripping and powerful musical that speaks from the heart of compassion, dignity, life, death and love. Other Mainstage offerings include Steve Parsons & John Popa’s musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol, the timeless classic Fiddler on the Roof, and the popular family friendly Andrew Lloyd Webber smash hit,
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
In addition to the Mainstage Musicals, The Players Guild will produce the Tennessee Williams’ classics A Streetcar Named Desire and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
Along with the Family Series offerings Winnie the Pooh and Disney’s The Jungle Book. All of which will be staged in the intimate William G. Fry Theatre.
