It's a summer of Pure Imagination This exciting performing arts day camp is designed for children and teens who love to sing, act, and dance and provides a great opportunity to develop skills and gain experience. Aspiring young performers will rehearse for a musical production which will top off a terrific summer. Camp is taught by professionals seen on stage and behind the scenes at The Players Guild Theatre. It is a four week program where kids and teens (6-18) with an interest in musical theatre can participate in a full production while developing their skills as actors, dancers and singers. Sessions are held Monday through Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm. Campers must bring their own sack lunch and beverage each day. All experience levels are welcome. Auditions for lead and minor roles will take place during the first week of camp. All students will have a role. In addition to being a confidence builder, camp teaches the various fundamentals of theatre in a community theatre environment. Learn about costumes, scenery, stage makeup, voice, movement, acting, auditioning and more. Have fun learning about theatre and making new friends! Overall it promises to be a rewarding experience. Students will walk away with new skills, improved techniques, a great sense of accomplishment as well as friendships and memories they’ll never forget. Tuition---$400 for each camp (5% Discount for each additional student in family) (15% discount if a child attends both summer camps) There will be before camp care available from 8am-9am and after camp care from 3pm-5:15pm. The charge will be $5/hr. Each camp will be capped at 40 students, so enroll early so you don’t miss out! SUMMER CAMP 1 June 16-July 11 Performances July 11-13 (Tickets $10) (Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2:30pm) This fast-paced stage adaptation of Alice in Wonderland features updated dialogue and new arrangements of such classic Disney songs as “I’m Late,” “The Un-birthday Song” and “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.” Join Alice’s madcap adventures in Wonderland as she chases the White Rabbit, races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with the Tweedles, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game! Enrollment must be received by June 9 Mandatory Orientation Meeting Sunday, June 15 @ 6:00pm Monday-Friday 9:00am-3:00pm WILLY WONKA JR. SUMMER CAMP 2 July 14-August 8 Performances August 8-10 (Tickets $10) (Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2:30pm) Roald Dahl’s timeless story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir comes to life in this stage adaptation of “Charlie and The Chocolate Factory,” which features the songs from the classic family film “Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory.” Enrollment must be received by July 7 Mandatory Orientation Meeting Sunday, July 13 @ 6:00pm Monday-Friday 9:00am-3:00pm
